Decatur skates past Tucker with ease

Recap: Decatur Bulldogs vs. Tucker Tigers

The Decatur Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Tucker 63-31 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Decatur has managed all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Decatur to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nadiya Mohamed, who scored 18 points along with three steals. Mohamed hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Dejah Raine, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ka'nya Hairston, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaymee Carter, who scored eight points.

Decatur's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Tucker, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Decatur will take on Arabia Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arabia Mountain is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games. As for Tucker, they will play host again and welcome Lithonia, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lithonia is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
