Baseball Recap: Creek Wood Comes Up Short

Creek Wood was the 5-3 winner over Sycamore when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Hawks took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the War Eagles on Saturday. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Creek Wood's defeat dropped their record down to 24-10. As for Sycamore, they moved to 15-14 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Creek Wood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sycamore, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-7 loss against Hardin County on the 10th.
