Colony faced Lathrop in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Malemutes. Colony might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

Jonathon Figgins and Isaac Villa scored all three of Colony's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 33 goals.

The win made it two in a row for Colony and bumps their season record up to 12-1-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Lathrop, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Coincidentally, Colony and Lathrop will both be playing West Valley the next time they take the pitch. The Knights will head out to face the Wolf Pack at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Malemutes will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
