Volleyball Recap: Provine Takes a Loss

Provine lost against Florence back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Provine took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-1, 25-6, 25-10.

Provine's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Florence, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Provine will square off against rival Vicksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Florence is set to challenge their familiar foe Cleveland Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
