Softball Recap: Janesville Craig Takes a Loss

Janesville Craig was the 4-3 winner over Janesville Parker when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 6-1 to the Vikings on Tuesday.

Abbie Claas was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run. Another player making a difference was Ava Schaffner, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Janesville Craig's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Janesville Parker, their record now sits at 8-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Janesville Craig will take on Vel Phillips Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Janesville Parker, they will challenge Wilmot at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
