Basketball Game Preview: Itawamba Agricultural Indians vs. Tupelo Golden Wave

The Itawamba Agricultural Indians will take on the Tupelo Golden Wave at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tupelo took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Itawamba Agricultural, who comes in off a win.

Itawamba Agricultural is headed out to face Tupelo after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Indians made off with a 67-66 victory over Lafayette.

Meanwhile, Tupelo was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 36-35 to West Union.

Itawamba Agricultural took a serious blow against Tupelo in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, falling 78-41. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
