Valley View had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Moreno Valley Vikings 4-3 on Saturday. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 6-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Valley View saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Hasbrouk, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That RBI was Hasbrouk's first of the season.

Valley View's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Moreno Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley View will square off against Liberty at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Bison have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Moreno Valley, they will challenge JW North at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
