Baseball Recap: Dallas Christian Takes a Loss

Dallas Christian was the 5-2 winner over Cistercian when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Dallas Christian Chargers fell just short of the Cistercian Hawks by a score of 4-3 on Saturday.

Dallas Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cistercian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dallas Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on All Saints Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Cistercian, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Cistercian Hawks face off against Legacy Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Legacy Christian Academy: 4, Cistercian: 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
