Greater Cabarrus S waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks with a sharp 69-48 win. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Greater Cabarrus S can attribute much of their success to Cody Pearson, who posted 22 points. Those 22 points gave Pearson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Teddy Helton III, who scored 14 points.

When it comes to explaining why Forsyth Home Educators lost, don't look at Caleb Petusky. Despite the final result, he made all 6 shots he took racking up 14 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Holt Briggs, who earned eight points.

Greater Cabarrus S pushed their record up to 15-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
