Soccer Recap: Timberlane Comes Up Short

The matchup between Timberlane and Bishop Guertin on Saturday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Owls came up short against the Cardinals, falling 7-2. While losing is never fun, Timberlane can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked 79th, while Bishop Guertin are ranked seventh).

Timberlane is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11. As for Bishop Guertin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1-2.

Coming up, Timberlane is taking a road trip to square off against Sanborn Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bishop Guertin, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Keene at 6:00 p.m.
