Volleyball Recap: Aquinas Snags Eighth Victory in Last Ten Games

Aquinas hadn't done well against Arrowhead Christian recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Falcons walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While Aquinas might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Arrowhead Christian scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 23-25, 26-24.

Aquinas has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Arrowhead Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Aquinas is set to take on their familiar foe Redlands Adventist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Arrowhead Christian will face off against rival Woodcrest Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
