Volleyball Recap: Dixie Heights Comes Up Short

Dixie Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Holy Cross Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Tuesday.

Dixie Heights' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Holy Cross, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Dixie Heights has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Estill County on the 30th. As for Holy Cross, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Scott on the 30th.
