League recap: London's hitting boosts Agoura

Marmonte league recap: 3/8/13

Kyle London was on fire this week, as he led Marmonte with a .556 average, one home run and six RBIs. Meanwhile, Agoura put together a 1-2 week.

Royal's Chris Kovach was the best pitcher in the league this week. He won one game and struck out seven batters.

Agoura put seven runners on via walks this week, fewest in the league, but Westlake's staff still boasts the league's best control, having issued only seven bases on balls over 21 total innings.

There were nine hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. They were led by Colton Waltner, who hit .636 this week (7-for-11).

Colton Waltner led the league with seven hits this week for Newbury Park. He is fourth in the league with eight hits this year, and has a .615 batting average.



London drove in six runners on Tuesday in Agoura's 17-5 victory over Saugus. He went 5-for-5 and scored three runs.
