While St. Pius X's win against Savannah wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Savages 21-20. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Savages: they've now won three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Savannah lost on Friday, don't look at Aiden Knechtenhofer. Despite the final result, he rushed for 136 yards and one TD, and also threw for 85 yards and one touchdown.

St. Pius X now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Savannah, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.
