Football Game Preview: McFarland Spartans vs. Edgerton Crimson Tide + Official Tickets

The McFarland Spartans will head out to face off against the Edgerton Crimson Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McFarland has given up an average of 33.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, McFarland came up short against Jefferson and fell 47-35. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (34), the Spartans still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Edgerton never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past Whitewater, posting a 48-0 victory. The matchup marked the Crimson Tide's most dominant win of the season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Edgerton, bringing their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.2 points over those games. As for McFarland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

McFarland came up short against Edgerton when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 21-16. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
