Softball Recap: Philo Comes Up Short

Philo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-0 to the Sheridan Generals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Electrics were looking for revenge after losing 13-3 to the Generals when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Philo's record is now 4-9. As for Sheridan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

While Philo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
