Volleyball Recap: Laville Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

LaVille's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Argos Dragons 3-2. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

LaVille wouldn't go down easily and took Argos into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-15, 25-22, 27-29, 15-8.

Faith Mejer paced LaVille's offense, picking up ten kills. Mejer got some help from Olivia Markin and her 17 assists.

LaVille's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Argos, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

LaVille has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Bethany Christian on the 21st. As for Argos, they will challenge Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
