Marion has gone a perfect 8-0 against Benton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Wolves will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Marion will be strutting in after a victory while Benton will be coming in after a loss.

Marion headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Williamsburg let them put that streak behind them. Wolves never let the Raiders get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Tuesday. Marion haven't had any issues with Williamsburg recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Benton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Vinton-Shellsburg, falling 5-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 30, 2017, but that streak is no more.

Benton's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Marion, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Everything went Marion's way against Benton in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Marion made off with a 10-0 victory. Will Wolves repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
