Soccer Recap: North County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fredericktown on Thursday, North County came back down to earth. The Raiders fell just short of the Festus Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for North County in their meetings with Festus: they've now lost four in a row.

North County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Festus, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-4-1.

Looking ahead, North County will venture away from home to square off against Saxony Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Festus has already played their next contest (against DeSoto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
