Michael Anthony Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Cortez got the W thanks in part to Michael Anthony playing the best football he has all season. Anthony rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries.
If history really does repeat itself, Anthony might just drop another big game when he faces off against Camp Verde on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Anthony saw the Cowboys), he rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.

While Mountainside might've come up empty on Friday, Daniel Gregg wasn't going down without a fight. Cortez had no answer to Gregg as he rushed for 56 yards, and also threw for 86 yards and a touchdown.
