Boerum Hill had to endure a nine-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They rang in the new year with a 39-31 win over EBC/Bushwick on Friday. Boerum Hill's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Boerum Hill's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for EBC/Bushwick, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Robeson Business Tech the next time they take the court. EBC/Bushwick will host Robeson Business Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Boerum Hill will host them at 4:30 p.m. on January 14th.
