Basketball Recap: Lebanon Tigers vs. Danville Warriors
Lebanon lost against Danville back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lebanon Tigers were dealt a 62-29 defeat at the hands of the Danville Warriors. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Lebanon still got an impressive performance from Jade Mount, who went 6 of 10 en route to 15 points and five rebounds.
Emma Ancelet continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Danville, going 7 of 14 on her way to 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Ancelet has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Wethington, who posted 15 points.
Lebanon's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Danville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
