Volleyball Recap: The Classical Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

The Classical Academy and Eaton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but The Classical Academy had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Reds. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Ashlyn Delaney paced The Classical Academy's offense, picking up 16 kills. Delaney got some help from Avery Jaeger and her 41 assists.

Eaton had a senior duo take command as Hayden Logan had ten digs and two aces and Harley Forster had five digs and three aces.

The Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 25-3. As for Eaton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-4.

The Classical Academy is on the road again on Saturday to play Sterling at 8:00 a.m. As for Eaton, they will challenge Varsity Opponent at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
