Baseball Recap: South Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for South's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Hawken Hawks on Friday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Rebels were not able to get on the board.

South has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Hawken, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South will square off against Riverside at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rebels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Beavers have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Hawken, they will face off against West Geauga at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
