Basketball Game Preview: Uxbridge Spartans vs. Northbridge Rams

Uxbridge hasn't had much luck against Northbridge recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Uxbridge Spartans will take on the Northbridge Rams in a tournament on Monday. Uxbridge has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Uxbridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their match on Saturday with ease, bagging a 54-27 victory over Blackstone-Millville. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Spartans have posted since December 27, 2023.

Uxbridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Stark, who posted 14 points. Those 14 points gave Stark a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of James Sanford, who put up 14 points.

Meanwhile, Northbridge entered their tilt with Blue Hills RVT on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They wrapped up 2024 with a 66-52 win over the Warriors.

Uxbridge now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Northbridge, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Uxbridge came up short against Northbridge when the teams last played back in February, falling 50-39. Can Uxbridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
