Baseball Recap: Wasatch Takes a Loss

Orem hit Wasatch with a four-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wasps lost 10-1 to the Tigers. The Wasps have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Wasatch saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Brown, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Wasatch's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Orem, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wasatch will welcome Cedar Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wasps are facing the Aviators at the right time seeing as the Aviators are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Orem, they will host Spanish Fork at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
