Basketball Game Preview: Eastern Eagles vs. Northwest Mohawks

Eastern will head into Tuesday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 36-point drubbing they dealt East on Tuesday. Eastern took their match with ease, bagging a 70-34 victory over East. That looming 70-34 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Meanwhile, Northwest was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 58-52 to Notre Dame.

Eastern's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Eastern didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Northwest when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 63-57 victory. Will Eastern repeat their success, or does Northwest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
