It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact McLean can now relate to. They fell 42-33 to the James Madison Warhawks on Tuesday. The Highlanders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Several Highlanders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Max Mullen, who went 5-for-12 en route to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peter Stoss, who posted six points and seven boards.

McLean's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for James Madison, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-15 record this season.

McLean does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for James Madison, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-40 loss against South Lakes on the 27th.
