Volleyball Recap: Taylor Takes a Loss

Taylor lost against Burnet back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ducks fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs.

Taylor started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-11, 25-15, 25-13.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Burnet, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Taylor will take on rival Gateway College Preparatory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Burnet is set to face off against their familiar foe Jarrell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
