Basketball Recap: Sipsey Valley Comes Up Short

Sipsey Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 62-55 to the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-36 last Tuesday.

Sipsey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for John Carroll Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 11-14.

Sipsey Valley will look to defend their home court on Monday against Holt at 7:30 p.m. As for John Carroll Catholic, they will venture away from home to take on Wenonah at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wenonah knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully John Carroll Catholic likes a good challenge.
