Preview: Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers vs. Westover Patriots
The Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers are on the road again on Friday and play against the Westover Patriots at 3:45 p.m. on December 29th. Hopefully Central Fellowship Christian Academy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Westover in Georgia (Central Fellowship Christian Academy is ranked 83rd, while Westover is ranked 237th).
Last Wednesday, Central Fellowship Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-48 to Stratford Academy.
Meanwhile, Westover didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Pelham on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 46-42 victory.
Westover's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jada Landers, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Landers' eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kaiya Conway, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Central Fellowship Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Westover, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
