Carrollton had won five straight games and Mabry Robeen did her part to make it six on Friday. The Hawks walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lutheran Crusaders thanks in part to Robeen, who had 12 digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Carrollton's win bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Carrollton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] on the 19th. As for Lutheran, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Calhoun on the 19th.
