Baseball Recap: Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 15-5 margin over the Atmore Christian Rams on Thursday. The Stingrays haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Garin Grant looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on B Nelson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Solomon Rials, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Lighthouse Private Christian Academy pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.5 runs. As for Atmore Christian, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
