Waterloo had already won ten in a row and they went ahead and made it 11 on Saturday. They came out on top against the Notre Dame Academy Tritons by a score of 2-0. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Tritons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.

Lilli Lauersdorf paced Waterloo's offense, picking up seven kills. Lauersdorf got some help from Emma Crave and her 17 assists. Lina Schmidt and Paytn Hauptli kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Waterloo's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Notre Dame Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Waterloo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Waupaca on the 27th. As for Notre Dame Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Lakeside Lutheran on the 27th.
