Baseball Recap: Mason Classical Academy Comes Up Short

If Mason Classical Academy was riding high fresh off their 17-3 takedown of Everglades City last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mason Classical Academy Paladins lost 16-1 to the Babcock Trailblazers on Thursday.

Mason Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Babcock, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Mason Classical Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on The Village School of Naples at 3:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Babcock, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-1 victory against The Classical Academy of Sarasota on the 7th.
