Football Recap: North Takes a Loss

North played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 34-7 defeat at the hands of the Redondo Union Sea Hawks. The game marked the Saxons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, North still got an impressive performance from Ethan Edwards, who rushed for 113 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

Redondo Union found their leader in sophomore Brady Grow, who threw for 128 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 35 yards.

North's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Redondo Union, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

North wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 34-21 victory against Peninsula on the 17th. As for Redondo Union, they have also already played their next game, a 47-7 win against Santa Monica on the 17th.
