Softball Recap: Hooper Academy Comes Up Short

Hooper Academy managed to slip by Fort Dale Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Colts came up short against the Eagles on Wednesday, falling 13-1. The game marked the Colts' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Hooper Academy's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Fort Dale Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-14.

Hooper Academy has already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Ezekiel Academy on the 3rd. As for Fort Dale Academy, they will take on Monroe Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
