Football Recap: Augustin Citsay's Menacing Defense Leads Rahway over Watchung Hills Regional

Rahway won the last time they faced Watchung Hills Regional and Andrew Avent did his part to make sure it happened again. The Indians simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Warriors 49-20 with plenty of help from Avent, who rushed for 201 yards and three scores on only ten carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards.

One reason for the win was Rahway's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Watchung Hills Regional's QB won't forget Augustin Citsay anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

Rahway now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Watchung Hills Regional, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

The Indians will be up against the Zebra's rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.71 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Watchung Hills Regional, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Elizabeth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Minutemen will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
