Volleyball Recap: Westland Takes a Loss

Westland lost against Worthington Kilbourne back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Wolves. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 25-15.

Kyleigh Yantis paced Westland's offense, picking up six kills. Yantis got some help from Audrey Alves and her 12 assists.

Westland's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Worthington Kilbourne, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westland will square off against Franklin Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Worthington Kilbourne, they will take on Dublin Scioto at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
