Softball Recap: Memphis Home Education Association Comes Up Short

Memphis Home Education Association was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fayette Academy Vikings.

Memphis Home Education Association's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fayette Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Memphis Home Education Association will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fayette Ware at 5:30 p.m. on April 7. As for Fayette Academy, they will take on Haywood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
