Volleyball Recap: Chula Vista Takes a Loss

Chula Vista lost against San Ysidro back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans fell 3-1 to the Cougars. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23, 23-25, 25-8.

Ryan Nance was a one-man wrecking crew For San Ysidro. as he had 17 digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Nance a new career-high.

Chula Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for San Ysidro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chula Vista is set to square off against their familiar foe Southwest SD at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, San Ysidro will face off against rival Castle Park at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
