Baseball Game Preview: Ouachita Warriors vs. Junction City Dragons

For the first time this season, Ouachita will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will square off against the Junction City Dragons at 4:30 p.m. Ouachita is looking for their season's first victory.

Ouachita lost 14-3 to Conway Christian on Friday.

Meanwhile, Junction City came up short against Smackover on Monday, falling 13-3. The loss continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Buckaroos: they've now lost six in a row.

Nemo Caldwell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Ouachita's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Junction City, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Ouachita was able to grind out a solid win over Junction City in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 7-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ouachita since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
