Baseball Recap: Harlan Comes Up Short

Harlan fell victim to Letcher County Central and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The defeat continues a trend for the Green Dragons in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Letcher County Central, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-12.

Coming up, Harlan will face off against Breathitt County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Letcher County Central, they will challenge Harlan County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
