Basketball Recap: Crazy Horse Comes Up Short

Crazy Horse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Marty Indian Braves and fell 88-17. The Chiefs lost against the Braves in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 66-22 score last time.

Crazy Horse's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Marty Indian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Crazy Horse will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bennett County at 5:00 p.m. on January 21st. Marty Indian has already played their next contest, an 83-42 win against Wakpala on the 13th.
