Volleyball Recap: Random Lake Comes Up Short

Random Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Howards Grove Tigers. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Random Lake may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 15 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Alivia Stefanich paced Random Lake's offense, picking up seven kills. Stefanich got some help from Jemma Schwab and her five assists. Stefanich was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Brianne Vandoske, who had seven digs and three aces. What's more, she racked up 14 assists, the most she's had since back in September.

Random Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Howards Grove, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 18-11.

Coming up, Random Lake will head out on the road to take on Lomira at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Howards Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Holstein at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
