Basketball Recap: South Park Takes a Loss

South Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 65-17 loss at the hands of the Sanford Mustangs. The Burros were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-8.

South Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Sanford, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

South Park will challenge Cripple Creek-Victor at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. South Park is facing Cripple Creek-Victor at the right time seeing as Cripple Creek-Victor is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Sanford has already played their next contest (against Trinidad), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
