Wayne Valley posted their closest win since April 23rd on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Passaic County Tech Bulldogs, sneaking past 4-2. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Wayne Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Passaic County Tech, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne Valley will venture away from home to take on Lakeland Regional at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Indians are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Passaic County Tech, they will take on Clifton at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
