Papillion-LaVista South lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Millard West, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Titans put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 10-3 victory on Thursday. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Cameron Curtis tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Emmett Minderman and Blake Wilsey did most of the damage at the plate: Minderman scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Wilsey went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most hits Wilsey has posted since back in April of 2024. Donnie Rosenthal was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

The win snapped Papillion-LaVista South's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-3 record. As for Millard West, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.
