Brandon put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Germantown Mavericks by a score of 8-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 last Monday.

Kameron Jordan made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Jordan was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Chloe Jenkins was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Hannah Jo Sullivan was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Brandon's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Germantown, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brandon will take on Oxford at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Brandon's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Oxford's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Germantown, they will challenge Harrison Central at 11:00 a.m. on March 15th.
