Clayton has gone a perfect 3-0 against Pleasantville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Clippers will welcome the Greyhounds at 4:00 p.m. Pleasantville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Clayton, who comes in off a win.

Clayton was handed a 16-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They never let Wildwood get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

Clayton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Tice, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Tice also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Pleasantville came up short against Middle Township on Wednesday and fell 7-4. The Greyhounds have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Clayton now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Pleasantville, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2.

Clayton took their win against Pleasantville in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-7 score. Will the Clippers repeat their success, or do the Greyhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
